I am a strong believer that faith and fundraising go hand in hand. I believe God wants your ministry to be successful so that more people might know who He is. As the President and Founder of SALT Outreach, we have seen God do some amazing things over the past 12 years. Over that course of time, God has taught me a lot about Nonprofit Management, Fundraising, Grant Writing, and so much more. I am excited to share with you what He has taught me as we work together to further His vision for the ministry He has given you. SALT’s outreach for the unsheltered started with only two volunteers feeding 15 people experiencing homelessness and has now grown to 35 staff members and over 500 volunteers offering 12 different services to over 200 people per day. From 2021 through 2023, Eric was directly responsible for raising $7,500,000 through SALT Outreach through all sources.
Qualifications
Formal Education
Eric earned a bachelor’s in Social Work, a master’s in Nonprofit Management, a Certification as an Advanced Certified Nonprofit Professional (ACNP), and as a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). God has used this to help Eric greatly in the ministry and he looks forward to sharing it.
Fundraising & Grant Writing
Over the past three years, SALT has increased funds raised three years in a row, year over year. With God’s help, from 2020 through today, Eric has helped to raise close to three million dollars through individual gifts, major gifts, grant writing, and corporate giving.
Founding Executive
Through experience, Eric knows what is required to officially start your own nonprofit organization. Not only the legal aspect and obtaining your 501(c)3 but also building a strong foundation. Eric has experience building an organization from the ground up and can help you start yours.
Organizational Leadership
Over the course of 11 years, at any given time, Eric has managed over 50 volunteer leaders and over 35 staff members. Eric has had to form every department of a nonprofit including creating documents such as policies and procedures & standard operating procedures.

Start-up Coaching
$1,000 + Filing Fees
This includes coaching you to incorporate your nonprofit, obtain your EIN, create your articles of incorporation, create your by-laws, build your foundation (mission, vision, values, etc.), obtain your 501(c)3, obtain your domain, make sure you are state compliant. This will get you off the ground and help you hit the ground running. We can bring your idea to life together.
Fundraising & Grant Writing Coaching
$1,000 (up to 15 hours Total)
This can include completing a full assessment of your current financial status, fundraising status, and goals, creating a custom fundraising plan, coaching you on all forms of giving (individual, corporate, foundation, and major gifts), coaching you on grants (grant searching, grant writing, and grant management), or donor management programs and databases.
Organizational Development
$1,000 (Custom Plan)
This includes doing a full assessment of your organization from top to bottom. We will analyze all aspects of your organization and your team through a comprehensive assessment. You and your team will then receive a custom plan showing how you can improve on your weak points and where you are doing well. (Includes meeting with board & key staff)
